Who is the training for?
Personal trainers, pilates/yoga instructors, dancers and movement coaches of all kinds will benefit from a deeper understanding of safe, effective assisted stretch. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of mobility, both in their own bodies and in others.
Physiotherapists, Massage therapists and other manual therapists will find this course material a valuable addition to their toolbox.
Event Details:
Stretch Therapy is designed to address the full fascial network using PNF (Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) patterns and is designed to activate communication pathways between the mind and the body. Enhance performance, reduce risk of injury, dissolve pain, raise energy levels, regulate mood, and reduce inflammation.
This course is hands-on learning. Through the experience of working with your peers, you will learn how to guide each other to a place of deep relaxation and trust. You will be ‘on the stretch table’ for approximately half the time. Experiencing the work as the receiver is integral to understanding how to deliver assisted stretch to others.
Certification
Students will receive a certificate of completion. You must be present for the entire course to receive your certificate.
This certificate is a prerequisite for those interested in pursuing a career as a Stretch Therapist with The Stretch Experience. Please email us for more information on how to join our team.
